Poul Erik Simonsen | Global Market Manager | Meat Segment, FOSS 

As head of the Meat segment at FOSS, Poul Erik Simonsen is responsible for driving the development in FOSS’s meat segment activities. This includes defining the strategy for solutions to be developed for the meat customers as well as the overall marketing strategy for FOSS’s approach towards the meat customers.

He joined FOSS approx. 20 years ago and has before that worked 10 years in the trade organization for the Danish pork industry being responsible for international promotion of Danish pork products. He has also for 4 years carried the position as Agricultural Attaché at the Royal Danish Consulate in Hong Kong covering China and Hong Kong.

He is product manager with a demonstrated history of working in the mechanical or industrial engineering industry. He has strong product management professional skilled in Food Science, Spectroscopy, B2B Marketing, Food Technology, and NIR Spectroscopy.
